International Air Cargo & Customs Clearance In Coimbatore
Coimbatore International Airport is undergoing major expansion to strengthen its air cargo capabilities and meet the growing demands of exporters across South India. The Airport Authority of India (AAI) and AAICLAS have introduced a phased development plan to upgrade cargo infrastructure over the next 3, 5, and 10 years. In 2024–25, the airport handled 12,139 tonnes of air cargo, a 36% increase from the previous year. Domestic cargo alone accounted for 10,269 tonnes, highlighting the rising movement of goods from industrial hubs like Coimbatore, Tirupur, and Karur.
